Functional Duties
Political – Military Intelligence Specialist Student Trainee:
The Intern will serve the agency as a Student trainee, and as such, perform a range of duties designed to prepare the incumbent with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfactorily perform the duties required of a full-time entry-level professional, such as an Intelligence Specialist (Pol/Mil). The Intelligence Officer (student trainee) responsibilities will focus on producing military all-source intelligence products assessing a specific foreign country/region’s political and military capabilities developments and issues. Applying intelligence analytical skills to monitor intelligence situations and produce intelligence assessments pertaining to military-political leadership, national military strategy, strategic doctrine, regional relations, security and their impact on force developments. In conjunction with other analyst, develop in-depth intelligence analytical assessments and determine the best methodology to prepare and produce integrated intelligence products.“
