Riot police in Turkey have fired water cannon and tear gas at hundreds of protesters calling on Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to quit.
There has been uproar since a recording emerged which it is alleged features the prime minister and his son discussing how to hide large sums of cash.
Mr Erdogan insists the recording is a fake and has promised to punish those responsible.
James Reynolds reports from Ankara.“

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told supporters that allegations of corruption in his government are a „dark plot“ by destructive forces outside Turkey.
Three ministers resigned in December after their sons were arrested, along with dozens of others, over alleged wrongdoing in construction contracts and deals with Iran.
Analysts say the latest dispute is part of a power struggle between Mr Erdogan’s government and an influential US-based Muslim cleric, Fethullah Gulen, who is said to have many followers within Turkey’s police and judiciary.
James Reynolds reports from Istanbul.“
