Is Erdogan a pious Muslim?
The idea that Erdogan is a pious Muslim is also problematic. It is not up to anyone to question someone’s level of religiosity, but building a support based on a belief that the prime minister is a pious politician could be misleading. For instance, there is no public record of Erdogan performing a Friday prayer since Feb. 21. For a leader whose every Friday prayer is highly publicized, this speculation was not denied by the government either. Sources close to him also said he is not even praying daily, let alone praying on Fridays.
As someone who is subject to daily attacks by Islamists from across the world for opposing Erdogan, I believe I do have a right to speak about a prime minister who they claim is living like a real Muslim.
A real pious Muslim is the one who is modest and humble, one who runs away from places where people give standing ovations to him or her. A real Muslim is the one who constantly acknowledges his or her own mistakes, not publicly bashing those who don’t praise them. And a real Muslim is one who speaks only the truth and avoids telling lies every single God-given day. A real Muslim is also one who does not take and give bribes or build villas using public money while millions are suffering under poverty.
How can a real Muslim call his opponents atheists, terrorists, bloodsucking vampires, leeches, worse than Shiites, assassins, perverts, a tumor, insidious viruses and parasites? He questioned the faith of his opponents and belittled opposition leader Devlet Bahçeli and Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen for not having children. In one public rally, he said his “mercy exceeded his wrath,” a well-known Islamic saying attributed to God.
‘Touching Erdogan is a prayer’
Instead of expressing discontent, Erdogan didn’t reject statements by his lawmakers and ministers who made incredibly outrageous remarks about him that could be considered as a grave sin in Islam.
For example, his Düzce Deputy Fevai Arslan said Erdogan is a leader who possesses all the characteristics of Allah. His ruling party’s Aydın Provincial Head İsmail Hakkı Eser said: “We are in love with our prime minister. Our prime minister is like a second prophet for us.”
His Bursa lawmaker Hüseyin Şahin said “touching our esteemed prime minister, trust me, I believe is a prayer.” Former Turkish EU minister Egemen Bağış said Rize, İstanbul and Siirt are sacred cities, because these three cities have a role in the making of the biggest leader of the Turkish Republic. Bağış is also the minister who made fun of the Qur’an in a recent leaked voice recording, but Erdogan defended him last week in a news conference. Deputy Health Minister Agah Kafkas once said “When we lay the foundation of a [facility], we also provide the date of its opening. This is the sunnah of Tayyip Erdogan.”
Erdogan’s skilled presentation of himself as a pious Muslim and as a leader of resistance against “evil forces” stands in contrast to his troubled record as a Muslim leader. He doesn’t deserve Arabs’ sympathy.“

„Turkey’s President Erdoğan has huge, custom-built vaults in his villa for stashing his secret wealth

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stashed some of his wealth in cash and gold in multiple walk-in vaults he had custom made for the basement of a villa in his family compound in Istanbul, two witnesses told Nordic Monitor.
According to one witness who saw the vaults after they were newly installed in the basement of the luxury villa while he was a guest at a private event held by Erdoğan some time in 2011. “I was being ushered to a place to perform an evening prayer, and we went through a basement hall where I saw room-size vaults whose doors were still covered in protective plastic sheeting,” he said during a phone interview, asking that his name be withheld due to safety concerns. The witness fled Turkey to escape a crackdown on government critics but still has family members residing in Turkey.
The witness described the steel doors of the safes as similar to bank vaults that can be opened by turning a locked wheel from the outside. “I saw wheels on the doors that resembled the steering wheel of a ship,” he said.
“I think maids made a mistake when they were guiding me to a place where I could pray and accidentally took me through the basement, because when the guards noticed, I was immediately rushed out of there,” he added.
The first-hand account of the vaults built to hide Erdogan’s much-talked-about wealth was actually corroborated with a 2013 voice recording during which he was heard instructing his son in a panic to get rid of the cash in his house amid sweeping detentions as part of investigations into corruption.
A steel reinforced vault manufactured by a Turkish firm is seen in its final stages. It resembles the vault described in an account provided by witnesses who saw the ones installed in Erdoğan’s villa. Dozens of Turkish firms offer vaults and safes custom designed to meet the needs of their clients.
Another witness who came forward to confirm the existence of the vaults, also speaking anonymously, said the vaults were manufactured and delivered by multiple firms and that the final work was done by a businessman from Diyarbakir, a predominantly Kurdish province in southeastern Turkey. “The vaults were designed in such a way that a forklift can be operated inside in and outside of it,” the second witness explained, describing the basement as having access to the driveway on which cars or trucks can be parked for loading and unloading cash transported on pallets.
The witness noted that only a handful of guards, totally loyal to Erdogan, were allowed near the villa where the safes were installed.
Erdoğan and his family moved to the villa compound located in the Kısıklı neighborhood of Istanbul’s Üsküdar district in June 2009 after having resided in the nearby Emniyet neighborhood for 15 years. At the time, it was reported that he bought the villa for $1.3 million in 2005 and that the family had five villas in total in the compound. His son, son-in-law and two brothers all live in the same compound.

„Dönmeh, a derogatory term meaning „apostate,“ refers to a group of secret Sabbatean crypto-Jews of the Near East who were originally followers of the seventeenth century Jewish Messiah Sabbatai Zevi. There, they lived outwardly as Muslims, but inwardly as Jews of the Sabbatean persuasion, much as the Marranos of Spain once lived outwardly as Christians but secretly as Jews. The Donmeh were reportedly influential in the Young Turk movement which ultimately toppled the Ottoman Empire, and many moved from Greece to Turkey in subsequent population exchanges.“

Erdogan is a Freemason, member of Turkey’s secret society ‘Dömneh’, claims Serbian-Yugoslavian researcher

Istanbul – A video has recently started to make rounds on social media which claims that Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a Fremason and a member Turkey’s oldest secret society “Dömneh”, that practices medieval occult practice of Kabbalah, and has controlled Turkey for five centuries.
The video shows a TV interview, where the interviewer asks the Serbian-Yugoslavian current affairs researcher Dejan Lučić about the history of freemasons in Turkey and the possible connections between Erdogan and the secret society.
Lučić claimed that Turkey is ruled by a secret society called as Dömneh, which has elite group of Jews who converted to Islam in 1666, and they have been ruling Turkey since then.
He explained that, a handsome and charismatic Jew called as Sabbatai Zevi, traveled to Turkey, boasting about forming a “Jewish State”.
Zevi was supported by Sufis, Kabbalists and everyone who admired him. He had 50,000 followers, and most of them lived in Thessaloniki.
When the Ottoman Sultan heard about this, he got Zevi arrested for talking about a Jewish state on the Turkish territory. Sultan wanted to cut-off Zevi’s head, but he negotiated with Sultan that the punishment will enrage the Jews in London, Paris, Berlin and Moscow, which will overthrow Sultan. However, he promised Sultan that he could convert to Islam and say “Allahu Akbar” and bow down.“
