Gazi \u00dcniversitesi M\u00fchendislik Mimarl\u0131k Akademisi&#8217;nden makine y\u00fcksek m\u00fchendisi olarak mezun oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Mezuniyetinin ard\u0131ndan yak\u0131n arkada\u015f\u0131 Sezai Bacaks\u0131z ile birlikte asistan olarak ayn\u0131 okulda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Daha sonra arkada\u015f\u0131yla beraber Ege \u00dcniversitesi\u2019ne giderek end\u00fcstri b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde master yapt\u0131. Bu d\u00f6nemde iki arkada\u015f Limak Holding\u2019in temellerini atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Nihat \u00d6zdemir, Limak Holding\u2019in Sezai Bacaks\u0131z ile kurucu orta\u011f\u0131d\u0131r. 1976 y\u0131l\u0131nda L\u0130MAK \u0130n\u015faat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.\u015e.yi kurmu\u015f; T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin \u00f6nde gelen kurulu\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n baraj, sulama tesisleri, boru hatlar\u0131, ar\u0131tma tesisleri, yollar ve fabrika i\u015flerini zaman\u0131ndan \u00f6nce tamamlayarak artan bir yo\u011funlukla yeni i\u015flerin yap\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 \u00fcstlenmi\u015ftir. L\u0130MAK\u2019\u0131n faaliyet alan\u0131n\u0131 sadece in\u015faat taahh\u00fcd\u00fc ile s\u0131n\u0131rlamam\u0131\u015f, yeti\u015fmi\u015f insan g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc, enerji, turizm, \u00e7imento ve g\u0131da sekt\u00f6rlerine de ta\u015f\u0131m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Nihat \u00d6zdemir, 90&#8217;l\u0131 y\u0131llarda Ankara sanayi odas\u0131 meclis ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6revinde bulundu. 1995-1996 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Ali \u015een ile birlikte Fenerbah\u00e7e y\u00f6netimine girdi. 2000 y\u0131l\u0131ndan itibaren de Aziz Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m ile birlikte \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Limak \u015eirketler Grubu; 1995\u2019te turizm, 1997\u2019de enerji, 2000\u2019de \u00e7imento sekt\u00f6rlerine girdi. 2008 y\u0131l\u0131nda havaliman\u0131 i\u015fletme sekt\u00f6r\u00fcne ad\u0131m att\u0131. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Limkon Konsantre Meyve Suyu Tesisleri\u2019ni a\u00e7arak g\u0131da sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde yeni bir ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 yapt\u0131. Bulundu\u011fu sekt\u00f6rlerde s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir b\u00fcy\u00fcme stratejisiyle \u00f6n s\u0131ralarda yer almay\u0131 hedefledi. Enerji \u00fcretiminin yan\u0131na 2010 y\u0131l\u0131nda enerji da\u011f\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 ve enerji ticareti alanlar\u0131n\u0131 ekledi. 2011 y\u0131l\u0131nda devir ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0130skenderun Liman\u0131\u2019yla liman i\u015fletmecili\u011fi sekt\u00f6r\u00fcne girdi.<\/p>\n<p>Halen L\u0130MAK Holding\u2019in Y\u00f6netim Kurulu Ba\u015fkan\u0131 olan Nihat \u00d6zdemir ayn\u0131 zamanda Fenerbah\u00e7e Spor Kul\u00fcb\u00fcn\u00fcn eski 2. ba\u015fkan\u0131d\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye M\u00fcteahhitler Birli\u011fi\u2019nin ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da yapm\u0131\u015f olan \u00d6zdemir, \u0130stanbul Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en Havaalan\u0131&#8217;n\u0131n hissedar\u0131d\u0131r. Nihat \u00d6zdemir, G\u00fclseren \u00d6zdemir ile evlidir. Demir boksitin toplam rezervinin 264 bin tonluk b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u0130skenderun'da toplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Hatay'da yer alan madenlerden biri de demirdir. 1 milyon 604 bin 400 ton toplam rezervli demir yataklar\u0131, D\u00f6rtyol, \u0130skenderun, K\u0131r\u0131khan ve Yaylada\u011f\u0131 il\u00e7elerindedir. Demirin \u0130skenderun'daki toplam rezervi 254 bin 400 tondur. \u0130lin asbest varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n t\u00fcm\u00fc Arsuz il\u00e7esindedir. Asbestin toplam rezervi 3 milyon 523 bin 300 tondur. Hatay'daki mermer damarlar\u0131n\u0131n rezervi bilinmemektedir. \u0130skenderun'daki mermerler siyah renkli, ince beyaz kalsit damarl\u0131d\u0131r. \u0130lin di\u011fer madenleri aras\u0131nda, \u0130skenderun'daki 50 milyon ton toplam, 100 milyon ton jeolojik rezervli \u00e7imento hammaddesidir.\n\n\u0130skenderun'da \u00e7ok say\u0131da fabrika ve end\u00fcstri kurulu\u015fu vard\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca bir tane Organize Sanayi B\u00f6lgesi tam kapasite hizmet vermektedir. Organize Sanayi B\u00f6lgesi'nin dolmas\u0131yla birlikte \u0130kinci Organize Sanayi B\u00f6lgesi in\u015faat\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar h\u0131zla y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmektedir.\n\n\u0130skenderun Demir ve \u00c7elik A.\u015e, (k\u0131saca: \u0130SDEM\u0130R) T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin g\u00fcneyinde \u0130skenderun K\u00f6rfezi'nde bulunan en b\u00fcy\u00fck demir-\u00e7elik i\u015fletmesidir. Tesisler \u0130skenderun'un 17 km. kuzeyinde Karay\u0131lan ve Yakac\u0131k y\u00f6resinde, sosyal tesisleri ile birlikte toplam 16.757.238 m\u00b2 alan \u00fczerine kurulmu\u015ftur. \u0130sdemir; T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin kurulu\u015f tarihi itibari ile \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc, uzun mamul \u00fcretimi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ise en b\u00fcy\u00fck entegre tesisidir.\n\nKurulu\u015f \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na 1966 y\u0131l\u0131nda ba\u015flanan \u0130sdemir, 25 Mart 1967 tarihinde Sovyetler Birli\u011fi ile yap\u0131lan Teknik ve Ekonomik \u0130\u015fbirli\u011fi anla\u015fmas\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda Tiajpromexprot firmas\u0131na projeler yapt\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, ayn\u0131 firma ile 10 Ekim 1969 tarihinde fabrika kurulu\u015f anla\u015fmas\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. 1,1 milyon ton\/y\u0131l blum kapasitesinde kurulmas\u0131 planlanan tesisin temeli 3 Ekim 1970 tarihinde at\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u0130n\u015faat ve montaj faaliyetlerinin tamamlanmas\u0131n\u0131 m\u00fcteakiben \u00fcretim \u00fcniteleri 1975 y\u0131l\u0131ndan itibaren kademeli olarak i\u015fletmeye al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\n\n\u0130l\u00e7emiz geni\u015f liman sahas\u0131 ile Akdeniz'in kuzeydo\u011fusunda \u00f6nemli bir stratejik noktada entegre olmu\u015f; Ortado\u011fu'nun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra G\u00fcney ve G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu b\u00f6lgelerine de hizmet vermektedir. Genel olarak aktarma liman \u00f6zelli\u011fine sahiptir. Artalan\u0131n\u0131n (Hinterland) g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc olmas\u0131 potansiyelini artt\u0131ran temel etkenlerdendir. 1400 m. mendire\u011fe sahiptir. Liman giri\u015finde derinlik 12 m.'dir. Kuzey ve g\u00fcney r\u00fczgarlar\u0131ndan korunakl\u0131 bir yap\u0131ya sahiptir. 90 ton kapasiteli bir y\u00fczer vin\u00e7, bir k\u0131lavuz botu, 4 r\u00f6mork\u00f6r, 2 palamar ve bir servis botu hizmet vermektedir. 60.000 ton kapasiteli TMO'ya ait bir beton siloya sahiptir. Liman\u0131n y\u00fckleme h\u0131z\u0131 saatte 350 ton, bo\u015faltma h\u0131z\u0131 ise saatte 250 ton'dur.\n\nKente en yak\u0131n havaalan\u0131, 2007 y\u0131l\u0131nda hizmete giren, 30 km. uzakl\u0131ktaki Hatay Havaalan\u0131'd\u0131r. Buradan \u0130stanbul, Ankara ve Kuzey K\u0131br\u0131s T\u00fcrk Cumhuriyeti ile Almanya'ya u\u00e7ak seferleri vard\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca yurtd\u0131\u015f\u0131 ve \u0130stanbul, Ankara d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki di\u011fer kentlere ula\u015f\u0131m i\u00e7in 150 km. uzakl\u0131ktaki Adana \u015eakirpa\u015fa Havaalan\u0131 kullan\u0131labilinmektedir. Ge\u00e7mi\u015f d\u00f6nemlerde olduk\u00e7a i\u015flek olan \u0130skenderun Havaalan\u0131, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde kullan\u0131lmamaktad\u0131r. Bu arazide Mustafa Kemal \u00dcniversitesi \u0130skenderun Kamp\u00fcs\u00fc bulunmaktad\u0131r.\n\n\u0130skenderun'un ana karayolu ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131 Mersin-Adana-\u0130skenderun TEM otoyoludur. Adana-\u0130skenderun-Hatay devlet yolu ise ikinci karayolu ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r. Toprakkale'den ayr\u0131lan bu yol D\u00f6rtyol'dan ge\u00e7erek \u0130skenderun'a ula\u015f\u0131r ve oradan Belen Ge\u00e7idi'yle Amik Ovas\u0131'na ba\u011flan\u0131r.\n\n\u015eehir, T\u00fcrkiye'deki demiryollar\u0131n\u0131n en g\u00fcney noktas\u0131d\u0131r. TCDD Adana 6. B\u00f6lge i\u00e7erisinde yer al\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca TCDD \u0130skenderun Liman \u0130\u015fletmesi deniz ula\u015f\u0131m\u0131nda olduk\u00e7a etkilidir.\n\nB\u00fct\u00fcn bu \u00f6zellikleri ile \u0130skenderun; Tarihi zenginliklerin ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131, do\u011fan\u0131n g\u00fczelle\u015fti\u011fi, sanayinin ise devle\u015fti\u011fi kav\u015fa\u011f\u0131n ad\u0131d\u0131r.
